Vidgetum Medicamentum

Privacy Policy

Effective October 4, 2026

Vidgetum Medicamentum ("Vidgetum", "the app") is an iPhone app by Michał Ciesielski that shows medications from Apple Health in Home Screen widgets. This policy explains what data the app uses and what happens to it.

The short version

Health data

With your permission, the app reads from Apple Health the medications you choose to share and the dose events logged for them. You pick the medications in a system dialog and can change or withdraw that choice at any time in the Health app.

This data is used only to show your medications in the app and its widgets. It is processed on your device. A copy needed by the widgets is stored on your iPhone in the app's protected storage, encrypted while the device is locked and excluded from backups.

The app does not send health data to the developer or to any third party, does not use it for advertising or marketing, and does not sell it. The app never writes to Apple Health.

Purchases

Vidgetum Pro is sold through Apple's in-app purchase system. Payments are handled by Apple; the developer never sees your payment details.

To check whether Pro is active, the app uses RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives a random, anonymous app user identifier, your purchase history for this app, and technical information that comes with any network request, such as app version, operating system version, device model, country and IP address. It does not receive your name, email address or any health data. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

What the app does not collect

No analytics, no advertising identifiers, no location, no contacts, and no cross-app tracking.

Keeping and deleting data

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Not medical advice

Vidgetum displays information you recorded in Apple Health. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Follow the guidance of your doctor or pharmacist.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
